I’m Sorry I am Late I was Catching a Cobra

I’m sorry I am late, I was catching a cobra

(Philippine Cobra, Naja Philippinensis – Philippines)

In the Philippines, when someone says, “I’m sorry I am late, I was catching a cobra.” It appears that it’s true…

I went to visit and freind and as we arrived, they introduced us to this beauty, which had been caught by the gardener. Usually when a snake like is is found it will be killed as locals are scared of them. Luckily this one was found in the garden of a European ex-pat, who didn’t want it killed.

Thank you Rowland from Explore with Indigo for identifying this Philippine cobra, Naja Philippinensis
